Rotate Images Online — Fix Orientation Fast Without Losing Quality
Have you ever opened a photo, only to discover it's sideways or upside down?
It happens. A camera quirk, a scan gone awry, or a quick mobile upload can all result in images that aren't oriented correctly. It's annoying, particularly when you're dealing with a whole bunch of them.
Image Rotator is designed to solve that problem.
You can rotate and flip multiple images right in your browser. Select your rotation angle, apply mirroring if you need to, and download your corrected images immediately. And you won't have to change the file format or upload anything to a server.
No software installation required. No accounts needed. Just quick and easy orientation fixes.
Rotate Photos in Bulk — With One Simple Setting
Most photos don't need much editing; they just need to be turned the right way.
This tool lets you rotate your images in 90° increments and apply the same correction to a batch. Just choose the direction, and you're done.
Available rotation options:
0° (No rotation)
90° clockwise
180° (full upside-down flip)
270° (90° counterclockwise)
This feature is particularly handy for:
Correcting those sideways mobile photos
Fixing up scanned documents
Getting product shots or headshots back on track after a botched upload
Re-aligning images for eCommerce, social media, or any kind of documentation
You can rotate all your uploaded files with a single click – no tedious manual adjustments required.
Flip Images Horizontally or Vertically
Not every issue is about rotation, of course. Sometimes, your image is just mirrored the wrong way – a common problem with front-facing cameras or scanners.
This tool offers complete control over image flipping:
Flip Horizontally – mirror the image horizontally, a bit like a selfie or a reflection in a mirror.
Flip Vertically – mirror the image vertically, from top to bottom; it's not common, but it can be useful.
You can use these flips independently or combine them with rotation to achieve the precise orientation you require.
Your Files Remain in Their Original Format
Rotating an image shouldn't impact everything else.
When you export your adjusted images, they retain their original file format, ensuring your workflow remains uninterrupted.
Supported Formats:
JPG / JPEG
PNG (including images with transparency)
GIF
WEBP
No conversions or renaming takes place.
Transparency remains intact, and there's no disruption to your existing design software, content management system, or gallery tools.
Designed for Batch Processing, Not Individual Edits
If you've ever had to manually adjust a batch of images—ten, twenty, or fifty—you understand how quickly the task can become tedious.
Image Rotator was built to streamline that process.
You can upload up to 20 images in a single session, apply one or more rotation or flip actions, and then download them immediately, either individually or as a complete set.
Restrictions:
A maximum of 20 files per run
A maximum of 5 MB per file
This makes it simple to correct image sets for:
Photo libraries
Product listings
Blog headers
Client deliverables
Image banks or internal archives
Know Exactly What Changed
Every image in your batch includes a brief summary, eliminating any uncertainty.
For each processed image, you'll find:
The rotation angle applied (90°, 180°, etc.)
Whether a flip was used
New image dimensions (useful when 90° or 270° rotations switch width and height)
This way, you understand the adjustments before you download.
This is perfect for images that need extra care—think legal documents, ID photos, unreleased product images, or anything owned by a client.
Rotate as Often as You Like
No need to wait or pay to simply straighten a few pictures.
This tool is completely free, with no daily restrictions, no sign-up required, and every feature unlocked. You can fix:
A crooked selfie
A whole folder of product shots turned sideways
Scanned pages that need a 180° turn
Reversed diagrams or flowcharts
Give it a try with a few images. If it’s not quite right, just reapply the correct rotation or flip until it is—without uploading anything again.
Got Questions?
We've got answers
1. Will rotating my image change the file format?
No. Your file stays in the original format — whether it’s JPG, PNG, GIF, or WEBP.
2. Why do the dimensions change after a 90° rotation?
When you rotate an image 90° or 270°, the width and height swap. This is normal and ensures your image stays proportional.
3. Can I rotate and flip in the same session?
Yes. You can apply a rotation and one (or both) flip actions at the same time for each image.
4. Will my PNG’s transparency be preserved?
Absolutely. If your original file has transparency (like a PNG or WEBP), it will still have it after rotation or flipping.
5. Can I rotate multiple images at once?
Yes. You can upload up to 25 files per batch, apply a single rotation and/or flip setting, and download all the corrected images in one go.
6. What does ‘flip horizontal’ mean exactly?
A horizontal flip mirrors your image from left to right, like viewing it in a mirror.
7. Are my images uploaded or stored anywhere?
No. Everything happens locally in your browser. Your images are never uploaded, stored, tracked, or analyzed.
